Just Another Day in Paradise

Today was just another day in our exciting lives! Lol. ;) Justin and I went to work (zzzz...) and then I went and ordered an iPhone!! =] I can't wait until it comes!! I've definitely missed having an iPhone!!

Funny thing about me is that for some reason, I couldn't stand pork chops for the longest time!! Justin's best man's mom made them for us for dinner one night, because Justin LOVES them, and they were really good! Since then, Justin always asks me to make them, but I never could find a good recipe. Well, I had dinner at a friend's house while Justin was out of town and she made pork chops and they were AMAZING!!! So I made them for Justin a few weeks ago and he loved them!! I made them again tonight and I think they were the best so far. =]

They're super easy to make! Here's the marinade:
-yellow mustard
-applewood dry rub
-salt & pepper
-Dale's steak seasoning

They're super easy and taste awesome!

Anyways, today marked the 3 month mark until school is done and I can move on to my actual major!! I really cannot wait! I'm so tired of doing all this general ed. =/ But also, it really hit me today that we're going to moving soon! It really seems just like yesterday that Justin was ready to deploy and that was almost three years ago!!! Where has the time gone?!? I know that its going to be hard leaving friends and family, but I absolutely cannot wait to go to Germany!! I'm so excited to travel around Europe and see so many things!!

I guess I should get back to the homework! Seems like it never ends! Lol.

Here it Goes...

I wanted to start writing a blog 1) i think that it'll be fun! 2) help our family and friends back home up to date on all our crazy adventures with the military and 3) share some of the ins and outs of our little life here. =]

As most people know, we're stationed right now in Colorado right now. Justin is back working the crazy schedule, with two weeks of days and two weeks of nights, which he hates, but we're only here for a few more months. I am working at the cafe in the gym still 4 days a week and going to school for one class in the classroom and then two online. When not working or going to school, I am spending time with friends, selling Gold Canyon and Tupperware and I'm the "runner" of our book club on base. Justin also volunteers at a local high school helping coach wrestling.

Soon, we will be leaving this base and moving to Germany. We're very excited, but I know that I'll be sad when we leave here. We've met some great people here and hope that the Army makes it so we meet with them again!

Well that's it for now! =]
